Exactly what I needed.

My Trophy brand Aerocool cooler, working and running year after year on my rooftop since 2004, had been performing very poorly for the last several years, due to the water distributor failing. For quite a few seasons now, it had only been emitting water across about only 65-70% of the length of the old distributor. The result of this was that the entire right hand side of my evaporative pads were dry, as no water came out of the distributor on that end. Very inefficient, but still cooled the house quite well. Fast forward to this year, 2025. I had found this website last year, as it seems to be one of the only options to purchase this part anywhere. I chose not to buy the part last year due to it's high cost. I am so very glad I changed my mind this year. I had even been considering changing to a portable in house cooler, partly because of being tired of going up on the roof, but also in part due to not wanting to pay $170 for this part (with shipping). But after careful consideration I realized that buying this part would make my good old rooftop evaporative cooler run like new. And it did! The difference in cooler efficiency with this new distributor is HUGE. It's also much better for the evaporative pads to keep them fully and evenly wet, and prolongs the life of the pads. One point worth mentioning is that I found this replacement part to be slightly longer than the original part, and was even a bit concerned at first that I would be able to get it installed. But it is actually a perfect fit, but very, very snug. I could tell from the moment I installed it, long before I even turned the water on, that this was a very well made and superb quality part. Heavy, thick, properly molded and shaped, etc. I could also see that it sat properly on top of the two evaporative pads, something the old distributor had not done in years. The second I turned the water on, I was thrilled! Instantly I saw complete coverage of the pads along the entire length of the distributor. They were fully soaked from left to right and top to bottom in less than a minute! Finally, there is no water leakage now, thanks to this new part. Due to warping and/or just material degradation over a 20 year period, the old distributor shot water out of the front of the cooler unless I taped it into place and forced it to sit correctly on the pads. Even then it still leaked. This beautiful new water distributor functions with ZERO LEAKS. No water wasted, no stress over having to deal with it all the time, just a cooler that actually does work like NEW. Awesome! Thank You!
