Description

17.75" Barometric Damper automatically opens when cooler is on and closes off the duct when cooler is turned off. High grade aluminum frame and vanes with nylon hinges and weatherstripping insulation for thermal seal. Fits 18" cooler roof jack for 4500 CFM coolers.

    Very convenient in that I can turn on my a/c remotely on more humid days and not have to put in the old damper plate. It seems to block the majority of backflow when the a/c is on.

    Got tired of shutting off the duct manually. This is what I was looking for without knowing if it even existed. Lightweight yet very sturdy. The vanes are well balanced and efficient.

    For preventing backdraft into swamp cooler where heating and cooling systems use same duct work. Permits using both hear and A/C without shutting something down.
