Description
Bar Style Return Filter Frame Stylish grille for ceiling return air. Steel construction. Vanes are fixed. Face opens on hinges to allow filter access. Built in lever style latches close firmly, no knobs to lose. Color-White.
NOTE - Filter frames are measured by the filter that they hold. FOR INSTANCE, if you have a filter that measures 19-3/4" x 19-3/4" you would order a 20 x 20 filter frame. It will hold the filter and fit into a ceiling recess of about 20-1/2" x 20-1/2". The frame will cover a hole up to 22-3/4" x 22-3/4".

Looks Nice, Fits
This was a much better option than what was available at the bigbox. It has several nice features that make it a more functional replacement for my original return: the hinges cannot pop out on their own, the tabs cannot vibrate out during operation, and there are easily foldable metal catches for ceiling installation to hold the housing in place before permanently screwing it in. Easily installed in five minutes. More attractive than the sheet metal grate, but it does have some noise during vibrating from HVAC operation.
