Description
Finish a 30 x 20 in. nominal return-air opening with this white fixed bar filter grille. The steel face has 3/4 in. spaced bars set at 35 degrees. A hinged, removable face and concealed latches give access to the filter without visible knobs.
- Nominal grille size: 30 x 20 in. (horizontal dimension first)
- Overall face: 32-11/16 x 22-11/16 in.; insert: 29-7/8 x 19-7/8 in.
- Designed for a 1 in. thick disposable filter; filter sold separately

Measure the opening and check the insert and overall face dimensions before ordering. Allow clearance to open the face for filter changes.

Looks Nice, Fits
This was a much better option than what was available at the bigbox. It has several nice features that make it a more functional replacement for my original return: the hinges cannot pop out on their own, the tabs cannot vibrate out during operation, and there are easily foldable metal catches for ceiling installation to hold the housing in place before permanently screwing it in. Easily installed in five minutes. More attractive than the sheet metal grate, but it does have some noise during vibrating from HVAC operation.
