The gradual degrading of efficiency over time, due to calcification of the pads, is hard to recognize. But by replacing the pads, one can drastically see what an incredible cooler the AeroCool Pro really is. If your cool pads are showing signs of calcification, don't hesitate to perform the very easy task of replacing the pads, the difference is immediate and immensely gratifying.

The old PAD has been replaced, which is a big improvement. The previous homeowner never maintained the unit. With the new pad, belt, and water distributor lid... the machine runs like new and is extremely much cooler.

I found the installation instructions confusing. One of the pad sets was supposed to have a blue line, but there was no blue line anywhere, so it took a while to determine the correct orientation. The drawings of the edge of the pads are not clear - they show diagonal lines angled differently at the top and bottom of the pads and that does not match what the pads look like. I followed the instructions for pre-wetting but the air coming from the system smelled like adhesive for two days of continuous running and multiple draining. I was disappointed that for the high cost there were not better instructions. Thank you.

This product should be redesigned. Although the installed pads are saturated with water, so much dirt is pulled into the pad and house. We have an established neighborhood with trees and grass, but the dirt pulled into the house and all over the ceiling and walls is terrible. When pads are new, the smell from them is so bad I need to leave the house until the smell is gone or turn off the cooler.
