These filters have a CRAZY strong smell when first installed. I don't know if that's a normal thing, or if we did something wrong (we just slid them into place and turned on the swamp cooler), but it was a strong, chemical-like, headache-inducing smell for about two days. I was worried about our three young kids. If I had known, we would have stayed elsewhere while the smell wore off. Next time, we will!

Easy to install and are a perfect fit for my TD/TH/TUP 6800 evaporative cooler. 30x40x8 came in four pieces. Labels indicated which direction they were designed to go. Easy process and nice to have a source we can trust.

They came with minor damage, very fragile, have them installed but have not even hooked up the cooler yet, so I do not know how they function yet. I like the design increasing water distribution and direction of the air flow and will be excited to see how this improves the cooling in my home
