I have replaced the water pan and sides in both of my Aerocool 6800 coolers now. I did one cooler last year and the second one just now. These replacement pans and sides are working perfectly. My units sit on the ground so I had to cut the drain pipe off even with the nut for clearance. I'm glad I replaced the sides too as it seems to have improved the drainage down the sides of the pads. I have not experienced any leaks. Overall, I'm exceptionally pleased with the performance and the ease of installation.

I bought it for an obsolete model that I could not find the wet section for. I had to modify it to sit in the old wet side and drill a new hole in the old side to line up the drain hole. It works good now with no leaks.
