This Swamp cooler cover is Good Quality ! I live in a very windy area, and bought one at a home improvement store. The wind had it trashed within a few years. I can tell this one will do allot better. It has a coating of some kind, and feels very Durable. Good purchase. ???????

Got this to replace my old canvas cover which finally rotted out after at least 20 years. As recommended by the manufacturer, I used straight measurements (not adding any extra for leeway) and it worked out fine. I don’t need it on right now, but I had to try it on to make sure it fits properly before I do need it. As others have noted, the smell is kind of funky due to the waterproofing treatment. I put it in the garage after checking the fit and the smell filled the whole thing in short order. The garage is kept closed most of the time so I imagine that the smell would dissipate if I opened the door several hours. If you want to do what I did and lessen the smell, I suppose you could fold it up well and shove it in a thick garbage bag for storage until it’s been used in place for a season and the smell has worn off to a degree. Anyway, it looks like a quality piece of work and should be good for another 20 years or so.
