Description

For 115 volt application.

This kit can be used to replace the interior control box and thermostat combination on the Mastercool Plus or Mastercool Contractor's Series Cooler, some of which are now obsolete, including #P225101A, P225102A, P218301A, P218601A.
This kit consists of a new control box to be mounted on the outside of the cooler, a new plug receptacle box with wire leads for the inside of the cooler, a new 115 volt motor cord, and a new digital thermostat for inside the house. Requires rewiring of new plug receptacle box to new control box. Disconnect all power before attempting. Read all directions. Level of difficulty:medium.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR MASTERCOOL CONTRACTOR'S SERIES:
To maintain use of purge pump feature with standard pump, we recommend purchasing also an additional pump receptacle to tie in to the new control box.

New cooler control is Dial part #7624. Features include:
Digital Evaporative Cooler Control with Thermostat
2 Speed 1/3 to 1 HP 115V/230V
Automatic start and stop for temperature comfort.
Automatically pad pre-wet.
Automatically adjusts from High to Low speed
Digital display with separate controller in water proof box.
Optional 2 / 4 / 8 hour timer.
Optional dump feature. (Use an extra standard cooler pump for timed water purge, like a Clean Machine.)
Motor rated 1HP @ 115V, 2HP @ 230V
Pump rated 2A @ 115VAC and 1A @ 230VAC
UL listed.

    It’s working great. I purchased the control & thermostat kit last year That this one replaced. The one I purchased last year never worked right. This one works perfectly and was very easy to install. Delivery was very fast.

    I was able to follow the wiring diagram and called in for one question. I live in Colorado and I called around to see if anyone was familiar with the Adobe Mastercool systems. No luck. I took to the task myself and was able to figure it out. I have basic wiring knowledge. Ensured the breaker was off and went to work. Very nice unit, I think it saved me $3-3.5K by not having to replace the cooler. Thank you!

    Could not find original replacement

    Replaced my original contractor series with this new system, installation was a breeze, chose to use the dump pump option , working great. Would highly recommend this replacement product.

    I guess this is a "one size fits all" fix. my problem was there wasn't adequate room to install the box in the vertical position so I mounted it horizontally on the top of myHPC640E cooler, sealing the perimeter and hoping the cover is actually wate

    Had to call the "Salesman" as I couldn't ascertain the unit was acceptable in the horizontal position-otherwise no hitches.

    So far so good... This unit is working excellently... Hopefully it will last many years.... I would recommend it highly... Contractors should be made aware of its existence...

    110 volt Evap Control Box

    Worked out great. This item is a newer design to my old box, so some rewiring was required. I'm not an electrician, just your average DYI homeowner. With average intelligence and following the wiring diagram, this was a simple job.

    I am a JW electrician. This was a fairly easy installation for me. I could see that it could be difficult for a home owner. Fired right up and worked perfectly. Thermostat is very functional.
