Water Distributor Cover for 8" Aerocool with tube 5-6-163

This is the second purchase (I have two coolers) of this product. Over time this part can become warped, or clogged with mineral deposits. I found that replacing the water distributor improves wetting efficiency and cooling. The part fit perfectly. The one I purchased two years ago continues to perform well. I have learned that I can remove the barbed connection from the threaded PVC tube and clean the tube during annual service.

the is the OEM part for my aerocool, so it fit perfect, however it stated "with Tube", no tubes were included in the package except the actual PVC that is part of the unit.

We recently purchased a home with fairly new Aerocool PH6802 swamp cooler. Unfortunately the owners tried to scrimp on maintenance of the unit. The self clean feature had been disabled, the pad were not correct, the water pan was filthy and the drain was blocked. I bought new pads, a refill float valve, a new scale filter. The cooler is now cleaned and up and running like new. I will be replacing the pumps at the end of the season. Indoor Comfort enabled me to rescue this great cooler. Reasonable prices and great service.

Works great! Installed in minutes! Just take off the old unit, and slap on the new one. My house is at least 4 degrees cooler - just by putting a new plastic cover on the pads!

Part fit perfectly and was as described!

Product was received in a timely manner----not installed yet, but appears to be identical to old unit.
