Just installed it, it’s got more plastic than the last float (maybe that’s a good thing though). I had to reduce the previous fitting from 3/8 OD to 1/4 OD….. not a huge deal, but an extra trip to the hardware store. Also, I had to bend the float arm to get it to shut off at the right level.

Purchased this because they will eventually wear out. My cooler came with this exact valve and it is still fine after 10 years. I will replace it next spring.
